About Peter Caputo
For nearly 30 years, Peter has been involved in growing the financial capacity of nonprofit organizations. As Chief Development Officer at St. Joseph’s University, Widener University, and Main Line Health System, he led energized teams and volunteers to reach new heights in fundraising and program effectiveness.
Peter has managed the direction and implementation of several comprehensive campaigns that raised between $15-45 million dollars. His fundraising expertise spans all areas of leadership and development including strategic planning, capital campaign management, gift giving, as well as training, benchmarking, and utilizing performance metrics.
In addition to teaching graduate courses in fundraising as an adjunct professor at Widener University, Peter has been a dynamic presenter at AFP and CASE conferences and seminars. He received an M.A. from Duquesne University and an M.P.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
